Reev EQ ("Reev EQ", "we", "us", or "our") is a Chrome extension that provides audio equalization and audio customization features, including one-tap Vibes, Classic EQ presets, and manual equalizer controls.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Reev EQ accesses, stores, uses, transmits, and shares when you use the extension.
We aim to use only the information necessary to provide the functionality described to users.
2. Information We Collect

Reev EQ does not require you to create an account or provide your name, postal address, telephone number, or payment information to use its core audio-equalization functionality.

Reev EQ does not intentionally record or store microphone or camera recordings as part of its core equalizer functionality.
4. Website and Browsing Information
Because Reev EQ operates as a browser extension, it may interact with the active webpage or supported media playback context when necessary to provide its audio functionality.
Such access is used to enable, control, or apply the extension's advertised audio functionality. Reev EQ does not intentionally use webpage access to build a profile of your browsing activity.
Reev EQ does not intentionally collect or sell your browsing history, passwords, form submissions, personal communications, or unrelated webpage content.
5. Local Storage and Preferences
Reev EQ may use Chrome's extension storage facilities to save settings such as selected profiles, equalizer configuration, and other extension preferences.
These settings are used to restore your preferences and provide the extension's functionality.
If the extension uses only local or Chrome-managed storage for these settings, those settings remain on your device/browser and are not transmitted to Reev EQ servers.
6. Analytics and Diagnostics
Reev EQ's core audio functionality does not require behavioral tracking or personalized advertising.
If Reev EQ uses analytics, crash reporting, telemetry, or other diagnostics in a particular release, those services and the information they receive must be disclosed in this section before that release is distributed.
Reev EQ does not sell user information to analytics providers, data brokers, advertisers, or other third parties.
7. Network Communications
The core equalizer functionality is designed to operate locally in the browser and does not require transmission of audio content to a remote Reev EQ server.
If a future feature requires a network service, this Privacy Policy will identify the service, purpose, categories of information transmitted, and relevant recipient before that processing is introduced.

Reev EQ does not sell or rent user information to third parties.

13. Data Deletion
You can remove locally stored Reev EQ settings by clearing the extension's stored data or uninstalling Reev EQ from Chrome.
If Reev EQ ever stores information on a remote service, this policy will provide instructions for requesting deletion of that information.

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by Reev EQ against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
